JUN WANG DESIGN STUDIO is a young and vibrant avant-garde studio headquartered in Hangzhou and Milan, focusing on the integration of culture, creativity, and diversity. 

Established in 2018, the studio adheres to a design philosophy guided by flexibility, pursuing an aesthetic of playful beauty and embracing the belief that "More is more and Less is bored." Flexibility is key in their design approach, where More signifies abundance, and Less implies boredom. The studio persistently explores the application relationships between people, objects, and the environment, dedicated to providing users with enjoyable visual and user experiences.

Their clientele includes industry-leading enterprises in need of fresh perspectives, as well as mutually beneficial partnerships with growing startup companies.

Our business scope encompasses but is not limited to household goods (daily necessities, furniture, lighting, interior elements, art), household appliances (kitchen and bathroom, consumer electronics), and interior design. The studio also welcomes experimentation with products from different categories.

This is a research-oriented design studio committed to sustainable design methods. Unconstrained by conventional knowledge, industry differences, and cultural backgrounds, they infuse innovative design thinking, rigorous logic, and rational poetics into the entire process and details of projects, presented in the form of products, installations, exhibitions, and strategies. In recent years, the studio has focused on self-driven design research, exploring the origins and logical development of things, using macro thinking to streamline and design the creative process. Upholding technological innovation, unconventional use of materials, and structural innovation bringing design variables, flexibility, and durability are fundamental principles in their design.

Wang Jun Studio actively explores the balance of design thinking in commercial practice and has been operating the eponymous brand JUNWANGSTUDIO since the end of 2021. Infusing a warm and minimalist aesthetic philosophy, the brand imparts a poetic order to its products. Based on a pioneering spirit and an international perspective, the brand continuously explores the application of inclusive multi-space scenarios and aims for unlimited freedom in product design.

M.A. in Integrated Product Design, Politecnico di Milano, Base in Milan

He has worked for several product and technology companies: Design Director of Cloud Power Technology, Industrial Designer of Haier Innovation Design Center, etc. Wang Jun established his own design studio of the same name in 2018, and has designed and developed new products for many companies and brands in Europe and Asia.

His design works have won the German Red Dot Award, the German iF Design Award, the IDEA Outstanding Industrial Design Award in the United States, CORE77, DEZEEN, etc., and have been invited to participate in design exhibitions such as Milan Design Week, Taiwan, Singapore, Maison Objet, and Busan Exhibition.

Wang Jun's design inspiration is deep, and he absorbs a lot of different aesthetic styles. Good at creating style and aesthetic solutions for different categories of products.

Over the past few years, Wang Jun's works have received numerous accolades and have been showcased at prestigious events worldwide, including the German Red Dot Design Award, Maison & Objet, Salone del Mobile.Milano Milan Design Week, German iF Design Award, American IDEA Design Award, and special honors from the European Design Association (BEDA). His works have been featured multiple times on authoritative design platforms such as Designboom, Designwanted, and Core77 design magazines.
